Aavanippovarangu ആവണിപൂവരങ്ങ്
CTMA’s annual Cultural extravaganza Aavanipoovarangu has emerged over the years as an unparalleled event with imguistic andommunal harmony. This event also symbolize the fusion of two great cultures Tamil and Malayalam. The venue will be virtually converted into a typical Kerala festival ground with all the accompanying paraphernalia.
Over 250 folk artists from Tamilnadu and Kerala will perform shoulder to shoulder in an unprecedented display of linguistics harmony. The cultural festival is always preceded by a very colourful and varied cultural procession. The grand finale will be followed by a public meeting in which dignitaries from both the states participating and over 50000 malayalees being involved each year. The name Aavanippoovarangu was the suggestion of Melur Damodaran who is no longer with us but to whom we are greatly indebted.
