UTLSAV 2009 - A youth festival programme for Malayalees in Chennai organised by CTMA
CTMA has proposed to conduct a youth festival programme for malayalee youths in Tamilnadu on 11th &12th of July in 2009 in Chennai.
The programme will be conducted in the similar pattern of Kerala colleges/school youth festivals
The malayalee youths will be getting opportunities to take part in contest such as light music , Karnataka song, group song, recitation ,elocution, fancy dress, mimicry, mono act, one act play , bharatha natyam, mohiniyattanm, kerala nadanam , ottanthullal,oppana, kaikottikaly sanghanrutham, margamkali
CTMA has already instructed the union organisers to conduct the preliminary contests to find out the right candidates for the ULTSAV2009
The participants aged between 8 and12 will be categorised as Juniors and those aged between 13 and 25 will be as Seniors
Each group of the organisation can propose a participant for the event ULTSAV 2009
The winners of the contests will be awarded with certificates and gifts
The female contestant who scores the highest point will be given commendation as Pravasi Thilakam and the male contestant scores the highest point will be given commendation as Pravasi Prathibha
A preliminary committee has been formed for the conduction of the programme with M A Salim as the chairman KS Gopal the general convener Soman kaithakkadu the chief co-ordinator PN Sreekumar as the co-ordinator and AV Anoop amaravathi and Radhakrishnan and sub co-ordinators.
CTMA president has invited the representatives of organisation and the congenial minded people to attend a meeting on 22nd of March 2009 at 11 am at the Malayalee Club for the expansion of the committee UTLSAV2009
